1.双叶细辛全草（干品）含挥发油0.9％，挥发油中的成分有：α-蒎烯（α-pinene），樟烯（camphene），β-蒎烯（β-pinene），月桂烯（myrcene），香桧烯（sabinene），柠檬烯（limonene），对一聚伞花素（p-cymene），1，8-桉叶素（1，8-cinoole），芳樟醇（linalool），4-松油烯醇（terpinen-4-ol），α-松油醇（α-terpineol），α-羟基-对-聚伞花素（p-cymen-α-ol），β-香茅醇（β-citronellol）， 2-异丙基-5-甲基茴香醚（2-isopropyl-5-methyl-anisole），乙酸龙脑酯（bornyl acetate），3，5-二甲氧基甲苯（3 ， 5-dimethoxytoluene），黄樟醚（safrole），β-榄香烯（β-elemene）， β-古芸烯（β-gurjunene），甲基丁香油酚（methyl eugenol），2 ， 3，5-三甲氧基甲苯（2，3，5-trimethoxytoluene），橙花叔醇（nerolidol），细辛醚（asaricin），肉豆蔻醚（myristicin），榄香脂素（elemicin），2 ， 4, 5-三甲氧基丙烯基苯（2，4，5-trimethoxypropenylbenzene）等。根和根茎中尚含有双叶细辛醇（caulesol），榄香三烯醇（2-methyl-2-vinyl-3-isopropenyl-5-isopropylidenecyclohexanol），双叶细辛醇乙酸酯（caulesyl acetate），4-羟基-β-布藜烯（4-hydroxy-β-bulnesene）， 3，7（11）-芹子-二烯-8-酮［selina-3，7（11）-dien-8-one］，4(14），7（11）-芹子-二烯-8-酮［selina-4（14），7（11）-dien-8-one］，大??牛儿酮-4, 5-环氧化合物（germacrone-4, 5-epoxide），呋喃并双叶细辛酮（furanocaulesone）A ，呋喃并双叶细辛酮（furanocaulesone）B, 呋喃并双叶细辛酮（furanocaulesone）C,右旋二氢呋喃并双叶细辛酮（dihydrofuranocaulesone）和双叶细辛内酯（cauleslactone）。
